Texas Grano onion is a short day yellow variety with a large globe-shaped bulb with straw-colored skin.
The onion bulbs have thick scales and sweet white flesh. In addition, Texas Grano has an excellent uniform quality bulb with a mild-medium pungent flavor.
Texas Grano onion harvesting starts at 90-100 days. The variety has a yield potential of 14-18 tons/acre under good agronomic practice.
